Dr. Angela Chan is a medical oncologist at BC Cancer Surrey and a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of British Columbia in the Faculty of Medicine. She obtained her medical degree from Queen’s University, completed internal medicine residency at the University of British Columbia, followed by medical oncology residency at BC Cancer. She specializes in the treatment of breast, lung, and skin malignancies. Dr. Chan is the former Systemic Therapy Chair of the BC Breast Cancer Tumor Group, is an Editorial Board member of the BC Cancer Drug Manual and serves on the BC Cancer Priorities and Evaluation Committee. She is actively involved with teaching having received numerous teaching awards from the UBC Department of Medicine. She participates in clinical trials research, has led numerous quality improvement initiatives and has a special interest in innovative health care delivery.
