Dr. Fibich is a staff medical oncologist and hematologist at the Victoria Cancer Center. His clinical interest are treatment of hemato- lymphoid malignancies and stem cell transplantation, GI malignancies, in particular pancreatic cancer and clinical teaching.
Dr. Fibich received his training in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology at Hannover Medical school and Martin-Luther University in Halle/Germany followed by a bone marrow transplant fellowship at the TBCC in Calgary. He then served as staff and BMT lead at MLU and the Saskatchewan Stem Cell program for 9 years before relocating to BC. His extracurricular interests include marathon and outrigger canoe racing and ice climbing.
