Dr. Simon D. Baxter is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia and a Medical Oncologist at BC Cancer – Kelowna. Dr. Baxter received a BScH in Biochemistry from Queen’s University, and an MD from the University of Toronto. He completed residencies in Internal Medicine at Western University, and Medical Oncology at the University of British Columbia where he served as chief resident. His clinical practice focuses on patients with lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
Dr. Baxter has active interests in physician advocacy and engagement, and workforce planning, with an aim of supporting a robust and sustainable cancer care system.
