Dr Shenkier is a medical oncologist at BC Cancer Vancouver in practice since 1994, exclusively focused on breast cancer since 2014. She has been a Clinical Professor, UBC since 2016. Her foremost academic contributions have been in education (Medical Oncology Training Program Director 2014-2012, member of RCPSC Medical Oncology Subspecialty Training Committee 2004 and Chair from 2016-2020) and service (President of BC Cancer Medical Staff Engagement Society 2016 – 2022, President of BC Cancer Medical Dental Staff Association 2019 – 2023, member of Medical Advisory Committee 2014 ongoing). She is currently serves as Vice Chair of the Provincial Health Services Authority Medical Advisory Committee.
